Digital Services
EU Consortium
A consortium of digital service providers offering cross-border e-commerce solutions and API-driven financial tools operated across multiple EU jurisdictions. The consortium enabled seamless transactions between businesses and consumers while adhering to evolving regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and PSD2. With the introduction of the Digital Services Act, their operations faced increased scrutiny from regulators aiming to ensure transparency, accountability and consumer protection in online services.
The consortium struggled with fragmented interpretations of DSA guidelines across nine EU markets, creating uncertainty around compliance requirements for their services. Preparing for audits under these evolving regulations proved challenging due to inconsistent reporting standards across jurisdictions, which threatened service continuity and operational efficiency. Without proactive measures to align their operations with DSA mandates, they risked fines, reputational damage and disruption to their cross-border services.
We helped by developing a dynamic compliance dashboard that tracked over 180 regulatory changes monthly across all relevant jurisdictions. Automated audit trails tailored to DSA requirements were implemented alongside stress tests against upcoming operational resilience guidelines. These measures ensured zero non-compliance incidents during audits while positioning the consortium as a trusted provider of compliant digital services across Europe.
